For the third year in a row, we will be joined by Martina Klein and Alex Corretja as ambassadors for People in Red Barcelona.
Martina Klein, one of Spain’s most internationally renowned models, has enjoyed a brilliant career in the worlds of fashion, media and television. Her versatility, charisma and ability to connect with the public have made her a much-loved figure. Furthermore, she has chosen to put her public profile to work in support of our fight against infections.
For his part, Alex Corretja is one of the most prominent figures in the history of Spanish tennis. He was a Masters champion and a former world number two, Roland Garros finalist, Davis Cup champion and sporting icon, he is currently an internationally recognised voice as a sports commentator and analyst. He stands out for his leadership skills, empathy and commitment to our fight against infections.
Together, they form a couple loved by the public, admired both for their professional achievements and their personal qualities, and have become exceptional allies of the Fight Infections Foundation. Year after year, they help to raise the profile of the People in Red Barcelona Solidarity Gala and assist us in raising public awareness of the importance of biomedical research.
Thanks to their ongoing commitment, Martina Klein and Alex Corretja have established themselves as key figures in the Solidarity Gala. Their involvement plays a decisive role in enhancing the event’s impact and increasing the funds raised to support scientific research that transforms and saves lives.
